Holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music and is a licensed professional teacher. She was in her final year studying Master of Arts in Education majoring in Curriculum and Instruction at the Ateneo De Naga University before leaving the Philippines to join PJC Virtuoso Music School.

Jan Ray started playing classical piano at a young age and studied piano under the tutelage of the world-renowned pianist, Professor Najib Ismail and has performed in a number of master classes in her college years. Jan Ray joined PJC Virtuoso Music School in April 2011 and is currently teaching piano, keyboard and music theory. Jan Ray is good in teaching piano especially to very young children and children with special needs.

Studied Education Administration at Master’s level and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from the Bukidnon State University, Malaybalay City in the Philippines. She is an associate in Music; Piano as Concentration in Lordes College, Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines. Gesta has been teaching music since she was 16-year old, and has been teaching in Brunei Darussalam since 2004. She teaches piano and voice and is able to teach piano from preparatory to advanced level.

Gesta is a very experienced teacher and is able to bring out the best in her students at all levels. She also specialises in teaching piano to students with special needs such as those students who have autism, hearing impairment, visual impairment and students who are physically challenged. Gesta also teaches vocals and some of her work includes organising choirs for Government and Private Sectors special events.

Aldren is a professional drummer with more than ten years of experience in live performances, song-writing, improvisation and teaching gained from various reputable world-class artists and companies. He is able to play different style/genres of music and is a great motivator to encourage students to achieve curriculum goals. Aldren has been teaching drums since 2004 in various music schools including Yamaha Music School in the Philippines before joining PJC Virtuoso Music School in August 2007.

He is able to teach drumming all the way to advanced level. Aldren is considered by many as possibly the best professional “Drum Teacher” in Brunei Darussalam. He is well-liked and respected by his students due to his passion and patience in ensuring his studnets achieve the best in themselves.

Holds a Bachelor of Music, Major in Music Education and Voice from University of Santo Tomas, Philippines. Grace’s passion in singing comes from the finest technique. She sings Broadway, Jazz, Contemporary and Classical music that comes in different languages; Italian, German, French, Spanish and Latin. She has been a Voice Teacher and Piano Instructress at Weinstein Academy of Music, ABS-CBN Children’s Center and Royal Sound of Music in the Philippines for a number of years before joining PJC Virtuoso Music School in May 2007.

She teaches Voice and Keyboard at the school. A number of Grace’s students have achieved top accolades in competitions in Brunei Darussalam. Grace is a well-sought after vocal teacher. Grace was the recipient of the Best Teacher Award in 2015.

Studied in University of Santo Tomas, Philippines and is a Major in Music Education & Guitar. Ysmael was a music teacher at Esteban International School in the Philippines handling toddlers and pre-school children giving them their first lessons in music.

He is a qualified Classical Guitar, Keyboard and Voice (Pop) Instructor and has for a number of years taught at the Yamaha School of Music in the Philippines. Ysmael joined PJC Virtuoso Music School in January 2007. He teaches Guitar. Ysmael also handles the entertainment arm of PJC Virtuoso Music School in arranging for musical performances and PA sound systems for private and corporate events.

Regina studied in the University of the Philippines-Diliman. She took a Diploma in Creative Perfoming Musical Arts, Majoring in Cello. Prior in joining PJC Virtuoso Music School, she has performed in Malacanang Presidential Palace (Philippines), Cultural Center of the Philippines, Dusit Hotel, Manila Hotel, NBN 4, Concert at the Park and at Shangrila Mall.

Regina worked as a Violin and Cello teacher in Yamaha Music School and was a member of the Taytay Youth Philharmonic Orchestra. Here in PJC Virtuoso Music School, Regina provides music lessons in Violin and Cello all the way to advanced level. Regina was the recipient of the Best Teacher Award in 2016.

Holds a Bachelor degree in Music, majoring in Piano Performance from the University of Santo Tomas (UST), Philippines. Cristifany is a Los Pueblos Foundation Scholar and she also made it into the Dean’s List during her time at UST. She is an energetic, creative and experienced music teacher with a proven ability in bringing the best out of her students.

Cristifany joined PJC Music School in January 2017 and has over six years of teaching experience in various music schools in the Philippines including being a piano teacher at the Yamaha School of Music. She utilises the latest in music technology to enhance the skills of her students and she is able to motivate them to exceed even their own expectations. Cristifany is able to teach piano all the way to advanced level. She can also teach violin at the prep and beginners level.

Holds a Diploma in Music Performance from Rockschool, London. Rockschool London is the world’s leading specialist Contemporary Arts Award Organisation. Hisyam’s music interest started out at a very young age as he grew up surrounded by music around him but it was not until in 2008 while doing his ‘O’ Levels exam that he decided to learn to play the guitar.

He began as a self-taught guitarist and quickly improved his playing. In 2009, he became one of the founders of the Music Club in his college. After finishing his ‘A’ Levels, he decided to pursue his passion in music. Hisyam has experience in teaching from his role in the Music Club and also from volunteering in local events to promote art. He enjoys listening and playing to a variety of different genres of music and his favourite genre is Progressive Rock. Hisyam has been involved in local performances both on stage as a session performer and backstage as a crew to gain experience before joining the PJC Virtuoso Music School faculty.

James Brazal Reburiano graduated from the Universidad de. Sta Isabel with a Bachelor of Music Major in Music Education in 1997. Before joining PJC Virtuoso Music School, James was lecturing and teaching at the Universidad de. Sta Isabel and was part of the University’s music faculty teaching music major subjects on the Bachelor of Music Degree course. He has more than 20 years of performing and teaching experience in music education and the entertainment industry.

The students of James will definitely benefit from his expansive teaching experience. James possesses excellent communication and inter-personal skills. He is incredibly talented in playing and teaching piano and is able to teach piano all the way to Diploma level. James is also an excellent vocal teacher and choir instructor. Recently this year (2019), James won the Gold Service Award as the University Choir Conductor and Composer at the Universidad de Sta. Isabel. Apart from teaching piano and vocals, James is also able to teach woodwind instruments at Elementary or Beginner levels.

Melody Gavilan Payumo graduated from the prestigious University of Sta. Tomas with a Bachelor of Music, Major in Music Education Emphasis in Voice (Cum Laude) in the year 2011 and made the Dean’s List (which means that she was among the top 1 to 5% of the faculty in terms of academic results). Melody also holds a Licensure for Professional Teachers. She has over 10 years teaching experience in voice and also in piano. Melody is an extremely talented vocalist and has been featured as a main cast in a number of musical plays in the Philippines.

Melody can teach Opera, Broadway, Pop and many who have heard Melody sing has described her voice as sounding like Adele, Selena, Vanessa Williams or Diane Reeves. Melody also had a vocal student who made it all the way to the finals of “The Voice Philippines” and another who became the Grand Champion of “Campus Voice” a testimony of the excellent vocal teacher she is. Melody is able to teach voice all the way to Diploma level and is able to teach piano up to Grade 2.
